See your installation manual for directions on how to find the week and year of manufacture from the unit serial number.

A qualified service agency must perform all service and installation of Modine products. To find a Contractor who installs and services Modine units, visit our Contractor Locator.

Modine has tested and certified the operation of its gas-fired unit heaters with the caps that are specified in the installation and service manuals and offered in the price sheet. Other caps may be used if local codes allow it, but Modine cannot be held responsible for resulting issues with burner operation.

We do not have AHRI certification for gas-fired unit heaters

Installation must conform with local building codes or in the absence of local codes, with the National Fuel Gas Code ANSI Z223.1 (NFPA 54) – latest edition.

In Canada, installation must be in accordance with CSA B149.1

Make-up air systems, dedicated outdoor air systems, unit ventilators, and ductless mini-split cassettes that are ordered with the Modine Controls System can use accessory cards that communicate with a BMS. Certain gas unit heater models may also include an additional control board that can communicate.
